Itinerary

This course begins at Hartman Rocks in Gunnison where you will have the opportunity to acclimate before heading to the higher elevations of Crested Butte.  Hartman's will be your personal playground during your time at Western giving you the opportunity to explore some of the incredible single-track that will be right outside your back door.  Once you have had a chance to test your skills at Hartman's and get your lungs used to working hard at 8000 ft., you will head north to the Crested Butte area.  Crested Butte, home of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and Fat Tire Bike Week, will offer you some of the most incredible single track you will ever experience.  This course will also give you the opportunity to do some downhill biking at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.  Camping for this course will be in front country settings and after riding, you will be able to relax and have fun getting to know your fellow classmates.
