When you come to the Fitness Center at the Mountaineer Field House, it will feel like you’re at a big, private gym. The Fitness Center will challenge you to feel fit, younger and healthier. We aim to offer programming and facilities to help YOU reach your goals for health, fitness, and performance.

 

Programming

ClassesShort Description
RIPHead-to-toe, strength-endurance class using barbells and plates.
SPINIndoor-cycling class. 45 - 60 minutes of on-bike effort!
ATHLETIC CONDITIONINGFunctional exercises for core stability, increased strength/endurance, and increased cardiovascular fitness.
YOGA

Powerful and energetic yoga that incorporates postures that flow together to strength, stretch, and relax the body.

ZUMBACalorie burning dance fitness party that combines cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility for a total body workout.
Core/Cardio/Balance

Working your core, heart/cardio, and balance. 

Spring Semester 2016 Group Exercise Schedule

       

 

New Fitness Orientation sessions are available to introduce anyone new to all our fitness equipment. These are FREE of charge. Call Fitness Center Manager Jessica Thomas at 970-943-3363 to set up an appointment. This is a great way to be introduced to the joys of belonging to a fitness center.

Monday - Thursday - 6:00am - 10:00pm
