Facilities: Aspinall-Wilson Center
The Aspinall-Wilson Center was built by the Western State College Foundation in the late 1984, and is located adjacent to the college on Escalante Drive .
The facility was named after Joanne Adams Wilson who was a local rancher that donated the land, and Wayne Aspinall who was a US Congressman that served Western Colorado .
The Aspinall-Wilson Center is used primarily for conferences, meetings and catered events such as weddings and banquets. There are three rooms available for use, the south room seats up to 150, the north room seats up to 120 and the memorabilia room is a board style room that seats up to 12 people.
The facility also boasts a spacious lobby with a sitting area, a patio and large lawn area with beautiful views of the W Mountain and the surrounding area.
Hotels, restaurants, hiking trails, shopping and other conference facilities are all a short walk from the Aspinall-Wilson Center.
