Western State College Cheerleading

The WSC Cheerleading team is a small squad. We cheer for football, men, and women's basketball. We promote school spirit and support all athletics at Western. We compete at the USA collegiate nationals in Las Vegas, NV. This was our third year competing. Every member must have a good attitude, dedication, and motivation. We have come a long way in just a few years and we are striving to continue our success.

We do offer 10 scholarships in the amount of $250 each semester. You are not guaranteed to get the scholarship both semesters; each member has a fair shot each semester. If you are interested please fill out the scholarship form. Selection of the scholarships will be based on your tryout/video, your essay, and an interview with coach.

Committees: There are 8 committee heads that we vote on as a squad.

Treasurer, Communicator, Fundraising, Cheers/Dances (2), Game Day Caller, Club Fair Person and Sign/Supplies Person.
