Chhiring Dorje Sherpa, featured in the book "Buried in the Sky", will show photographs from several of his 40 climbing expeditions, including the ill-fated 2008 K2 climb. A dessert reception will follow Chhiring's presentation. Copies of the book "Buried in the Sky" will be available for purchase and signing.
WSCU has given the nod to recruit students to travel to Nepal this spring and experience a trek/climb with Chhiring. This presentation will be the introduction to possible trips, and will give students the opportunity to talk with Chhiring in person.
