What it is … The Art program appeals individuals who possess some degree of natural talent and/or a strong desire to creatively express themselves artistically.
Special Features … Art Convocations and Art Openings promote a very strong art community at Western and in the Gunnison Valley. Western offers an art floor in one of the freshman residence halls for first year students. This promotes community and offers activities designed especially for Freshman Art majors. All senior art students exhibit his or her quality art work from his or her junior and senior years.
