Non Resident Transfer Scholarships
Incoming transfer students who are residents of states other than Colorado are eligible for the scholarships listed below. You are considered a transfer student if you took college classes AFTER you graduated from high school.
Merit Scholarships
Mountaineer Award - $2,500
Western Advantage Award - $2,500
- $2,500 per year/$1,250 per semester
- 3.25-3.49 GPA in 30 college credits
- Awarded in addition to the Mountaineer Award for a total of $5,000
- 2.75 cumulative GPA required for renewal - renewable up to 3 years
Western Scholars Award - $3,000
- $3,000 per year/$1,500 per semester
- 3.50-4.00 GPA in 30 college credits
- Awarded in addition to the Mountaineer Award for a total of $5,500
- 3.00 cumulative GPA required for renewal - renewable up to 3 years
NOTE: Students with less than 30 college credits must have a minimum 2.50 college GPA to be considered for scholarships. These students will be awarded based on the scholarship criteria for Non Resident freshmen.
