The Office of Public Relations and Communications reports on both external and internal news about Western State College; a place where something newsworthy is always happening. Whether it is world class archeology research on W Mountain, exciting events like motocross on campus and football games, or student-led environmental campaigns, we always have a story to tell. We also assist with media inquiries.
Additionally, we are responsible for alumni profiles in the Westerner, which is produced quarterly by the Office of Alumni Relations.
Local newspapers Gunnison Country Times, Crested Butte News and Crested Butte Weekly also feature articles written by Public Relations staff.
