The Office of Public Relations and Communications reports on both external and internal news about Western State College; a place where something newsworthy is always happening. Whether it is world class archeology research on W Mountain, events such as motocross on campus or student-led environmental campaigns, we always have a story to tell. We also assist with media inquiries.
Additionally, we are responsible for alumni profiles in the Alumni Relations publication, "Westerner".
Local newspapers "Gunnison Country Times", "Crested Butte News" and "Crested Butte Weekly" also feature articles written by Public Relations staff.
