  • Custodial Services Tasks and Frequency Information

  • Restrooms – Restrooms are the number one priority for our custodial staff and will be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis.

  • Classrooms – Classrooms are our number two priority. Classrooms will be cleaned on a daily basis.

  • Entranceways – Entranceways are a key to the appearance of a building. As such it is our number three priority and will be cleaned on a daily basis.

  • Hallways – Hallways is an area that virtually every building user observes. It's priority is number four on the list. Hallways will be inspected daily and vacuumed or swept as needed.

  • Computer labs and Teaching labs – Labs are next on the list and will be cleaned twice a week.

  • Stairwells – Will be swept twice a week and mopped as needed.

  • Offices – Offices are our lowest priorty.  Offices will be cleaned by submitting a work order request.

There will be times we have workers absent from work or it may be required that we shift our personnel to provide clean-up after some event. When such events occur or workers are absent, you may notice services are reduced in one or more areas. This will be done to put our resources where they can positively affect the most people.

  • Carpet – Carpets will be spot cleaned throughout the year and shampooed as needed.
  • Hard Floors – Scrubbed or stripped and waxed annually.
