Fall 2013 Schedule
Registration Information for Continuing Students
- Continuing students schedule an appointment to meet with your faculty advisor. Advising is from March 11-15 and March 25-April 5.
- Review DegreeWorks and the courses offered in the class schedule. Make note of prerequisites.
- Complete a draft schedule with general education (if applicable), and major/minor courses.
- Meet with your faculty advisor to review your draft schedule. Make changes as appropriate. Obtain your ARC.
- Registration for continuing students begins April 8. Your specific time relates to the number of credits you have completed.
- Check your Registration Status Screen in MyWSCU account for instructions, the date, time of registration, and any holds on your account.
- Register at, or as soon after, your registration time to get the best class availability. Watch for error messages.
- Go to the tab marked, "student schedule by day and time" to confirm you are registered appropriately.
- Your bill is due the 1st day of the semester. Pay by the deadline to avoid late fees.
- Congratulations on successfully registering for classes.
Registration Information for New Students
- Registration for new students begins April 15.
- Go to the Academic Resource Center (ARC) page for further information on advising and registration for new students.

Academic Policies are found in the current University Catalog beginning on page 23.
Eligibility for Athletics, Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits is 12 credits in a 16 week term.
A standard course load is 15 credits. Students may enroll in 18 credits without special approval. Refer to your catalog for information about taking more than 18 credits.
Student doing an independent or directed study or an internship must complete a variable credit form and return it to the Office of the Registrar prior to the start of the course work.
Changing Residency
The petition for in-state tuition classification and accompanying documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than the first day of class for that term in order to be considered an in-state student for that term. For Fall 2013, the deadline to petition is August 26, 2013.
Attendance on the First Day of Classes
Instructors reserve the right to drop students from class rolls if they miss the first class meeting. If circumstances, such as weather or flight arrangements, prevent a student from attending the first class session, it is the student’s responsibility to contact each instructor to request the seat be held. A directory of instructor office and telephone numbers is available online using the directory.
Fall Graduation Information
Students who plan to complete all degree requirements by the end of the term must have filed an Intent to Graduate form with the Office of the Registrar by the end of their Junior Year. If this has not been completed, students should meet with their advisors immediately to initiate the process.
Students MUST complete an Application for Graduation by September 6, 2013. Submit completed applications to the Office of the Registrar, Taylor Hall 300.
The University holds commencement in Spring only, students who wish to participate must plan accordingly. Contact Ginny Hayes with further graduation questions.
