We organized a debate watching party for the final Presidential Debate between McCain and Obama.

We helped sponsor a Town Hall style debate for the local County Commisoner race. The event also provided information on the 2008 election and Colorado's ballot.

We watched a documentary on the "School of the Americas" and then organized a grassroots effort to influence Congress to pass the "Latin America Military Training Review Act of 2009", collecting over 60 signatures on a letter to Congress urging support of the bill.
