VA Links and Benefits Information

External Resources:

The Department of Defense has up to date information on GI Bill Transferability, an option for Veterans to transfer benefits to family members.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is the most comprehensive Veteran's tool available to you, with applications, news, general information, benefits, and health care information.

The VA has a Post-9/11 G.I. Bill Facebook page that is an AWESOME resource for up-to-date news and information. It also provides an open-forum for discussion where you can ask questions and get responses from peers, as well as the VA.

YouTube also has a great video guide on the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

Information Regarding Educational Benefits

For information on how to apply for educational benefits, or change your enrollment status, please contact Veterans Services (located in the Office of the Registrar) at 970.943.7007 or stop by and see us at Taylor Hall 300. You can check the status of your benefits by calling 1-888-GIBILL1. This is an automated phone system which allows you to check your status 24 hours/day.
