Initial Contact With TEP

Nella Bea Anderson is the head of the Teacher Education Program. Although no formal liaison meeting has taken place, three informal chats have produced some fruit.

Nella Bea has been busy getting the new online graduate degree for TEP through NCA accreditation. She has asked me to put together a presentation on the differences between magazines and journals for online students. This project has begun and it will be completed prior to 10-16-09 when it is due. Nella Bea has also requested a future meeting at which time library resources to support TEP will be examined with possible additions or deletions to be suggested. I have suggested the TEP could include a defined set of learning modules from the Instruction Toolkit to be integrated with the program. This should be of benefit to students and it would tie TEP to a set of national standards in Information Literacy.
