Faculty Senate Special Meeting 2-1-2010

Debate over curriculm changes took place with COTH leading discussion opposed to transferring the Resort Management emphasis of OLRM to the Business Dept. and hiring a new person at a higher salary to manage the program. A vote on whether or not to approve was delayed until the meeting to be held on 2-8-2010. The new program manager's salary would be $20 above that of tenured faculty, but 19% below the national average salary for a similar position.
