Teacher Leadership

A candidate intending to pursue the Master of Arts in Education, Teacher Leadership track, will complete one of the following licensure programs: Elementary, Secondary, K-12, Secondary English, CLD, Special Education or Generalist as part of their master’s. 

The Teacher Leadership Track requires 43 credits. The licensure year coursework is 27 credits.  Post-licensure year course work consists of the following 16 credits:

Reading Leadership

A candidate intending to pursue the Master of Arts in Education, Reading Leadership track, will complete one of the following licensure programs: Elementary, Secondary English, Special Education Generalist or CLD.  The Reading Leadership Track requires 43 credits.  Licensure year coursework: 27 credits.  Post-licensure coursework consists of 16 credits:

A candidate intending to pursue the Master of Arts in Education, Educational Administrator Leadership track, will complete the Administrative Licensure Program as part of the master’s.  The Educational Administrator Leadership Track requires 44 credits. First-year coursework is 25 credits.  Post-licensure coursework consists of 15 credits:
