Spend an entire month in Paris immersed in art, learning both its history and its markets. This course offers a chance to encounter the great masterpieces of art directly in the galleries, museums, and exhibition venues of Paris. Students learn how these works were bought and sold historically and learn first-hand how the market works today, through visits to dealers, auction houses, and even the flea markets of Paris. This course is ideal for students contemplating a future career in business, cultural industries, design, or advanced study in art history. Click here for the flyer. This program also includes a 3-day excursion to Venice. Flight and lodging are included in the cost of the course.
Successful completion of this course will result in a Certificate in International Art Business Studies from Institut d'Etudes Superienres des Arts (IESA).
