What to Bring

A complete list of what to bring will be provided in your confirmation packet.

Housing

Participants stay in double occupancy residence hall rooms on the Western State campus. Each room includes two twin beds, dresser and a set of bed linens. A shared bathroom is located near each room.  Roommate assignments can be requested at time of registration; if none are specified you will be assigned a roommate.  For participants do not need campus housing, a reduced camp fee can be arranged by contacting WSC Extended Studies.

 

What is Included

All camps include outdoor activities with Wilderness Pursuits, meals, on-campus housing, and program transportation.

 

Wilderness Pursuits Activities

Each camp includes a variety of outdoor adventures led by the Wilderness Pursuits office at Western State College. Participants explore the Gunnison area through guided activities geared for all levels of abilities. The activities include rafting, hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking and vary daily based on the individual camp schedules.

Notification of withdrawal must be in writing to camp.
