Community Garden
This project's goal was to create community garden on the WSC campus. This group of students repaired various things :the fence, the cold frame, the wheel barrel.

They moved the compost shed to the garden to use as a potential greenhouse space,made a sign, and put the beds away for the winter (spread compost and leaf pulp over the beds). These students also dug up the rest of the potatoes and planted some garlic.
"We got so much done! It is amazing, with many hands make light work. We did not expect to move the shed, yet we had enough help to do it. We had a nice educational talk and some local food snacks to munch on, and it seems like we were really able to teach a little something about not only the importance of local food, but what kind of work it takes to produce."-Samantha Duchaine
