Tourism and recreation are integral parts of the economy of the Gunnison region. Partnering with the Coal Creek Watershed Coalition, students worked on roadside slope revegitation and restoration to reduce erosion and sediment loads in adjacent streams, thereby ensuring healthy ecosystems along our roadways
