WordHorde
WordHorde brings together students, faculty, and community members who all share a passion for both the spoken and written word. Coordinated by students in the English program, Wordhorde offers bi-weekly open-mic events where a featured performer -- a local, regional, or sometimes nationally recognized author -- headlines an evening of poetry, stories, music, theatrics, and comedy.
Participation is open to anyone who wants to join in the celebration.

We're delighted to kick off the fall with flash fictioneer Leah Rogin. Leah's an alum, a former pres of WortdHorde, and now teaches at Arapaho CC. She runs a flash fiction press and is an active stage performer at the metro Denver open-mic scene. Bring a poem, a piece of flash fiction, a guitar or drums -- and a friend!
