M.A. in Education Program Costs and Financial Aid
The program cost structure is the same for in-state and out-of-state students.
First Year Costs:
- The cost of the first year of the Master's of Arts Degree in Education,or the licensure year of the program, is based on a program cost. The 2013 program cost is $11,330 per year, for Fall and Spring.
Second Year Costs:
- For the second year of the Master's of Arts Degree in Education, the cost is based on a per credit hour charge. The 2013-14 per credit hour charge is $360.50/credit (296.60/ credit tuition + 63.90/cr fees)

- If you need financial support you may be eligible for financial aid; however, graduate students are NOT eligible for the Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF).

Textbook costs vary from year to year and by endorsement area; however, the cost of required textbooks and other resources range from $100 to $350 for the first year of the program.
Summer On-Campus Housing Costs:
Rooms in Western residence halls/ student apartments are available and range from $19.50 to $40 per night.
