  • Interested in making changes to your faculty web site?
  • Want to include web content in your course?
  • Used DreamWeaver before but decided it wasn't worth the hassle and gave up on the web?

If you answer yes to any of these questions then you should sign up to attend one of CTE's Plone training sessions.

What will I learn?

These sessions are 100% oriented to faculty use of the web and will greatly assist you in utilizing the College's web content management system (CMS).  In this hour and a half session we will cover some of the following topics, in addition to many more:

These sessions are highly interactive and over 90% hands-on working in your faculty web site.  In addition, the sessions are customizable to suit the over all needs of those attending.

Do I need to know anything about creating web content beforehand?

While this is helpful, it is not necessary.  Naturally there is a learning curve with Plone, but it is not a difficult nor long one.  Plone was selected as the College's CMS because it is one of the simplest and most user friendly CMSes available.  After attending one of these sessions you will be able to create and update web content with ease.
