Poetry Symposium
THE CRITICAL PATH: NEW WAYS OF READING THE POETRY OF OUR TIME
Dates for next year's poetry symposium are July 25-27, 2012.
The symposium seeks to bring together contemporary critics of poetry from inside and outside the academic world. They represent diverse specialties and perspectives, but they share an interest in re-establishing a rational philosophical basis for criticism. The list includes overlapping categories of poets, teachers, and practicing critics. The format will be a series of presenters and panel discussions that allow conference attendees to discuss and interact.

In coming months, we'll announce the topics and presenters for next summer's symposium.
Students in Western's MFA in Creative Writing program may attend this symposium for free, as well as registered attendees at Western's Writing the Rockies Creative Writing Conference.
