Etiquette Dinner
The Etiquette Dinner is an annual event designed to introduce students to proper dining etiquette, business attire, and business conversation. The Dinner is held each year the night before the Professional Career, Job, and Internship Fair. Employers and professionals will be seated at each table to converse with WSC students. Students must RSVP online. Seating is limited. The Dinner is sponsored by WSC's Career Services and various employers.

For Students:
Employers want to observe candidates in social situations to see how you conduct yourself. Lots of positions require a certain standard of conduct with clients, co-workers, and superiors. You could be critically scrutinized on your table manners and conduct. One specific instance in which candidates are under the microscope is interviews. In many cases, interviews can last for several hours and extend through mealtimes. The employer often times hosts you for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The meal is a time to visit and interact. The Etiquette Dinner is a great way for you to make your first professional contacts while getting familiarized with dining in a formal setting. Professional attire is required.
