Erika Espinoza

At Western I’m involved in several of the clubs in the Multicultural Center and the Honors Program. Last year I was also the manager for the women’s basketball team.

I’m not a 'snow bunny' so I find as much to do on campus as possible to keep myself engaged.

I’ve known that I wanted to be a math teacher since the second grade. I also want to be a basketball coach to go along with my teaching.

Most of all at Western I love the dedication of my professors. So many professors I’ve had clearly love what they do and their passion just radiates through them.

With small class sizes I am able to get the personal attention I need to succeed, from professors who know their disciplines inside and out.

This fall I will take advantage of Western’s National Student Exchange program to study at the University of Wyoming, all while paying in-state tuition.
